New Media Signatory indie production Swift Spark and the Defense Five stands in solidarity with its union actors during this SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike. Support your union, support your actors, support your writers.
The writing and casting process for Episode 2 has halted, meaning we will not be casting or hiring until the strike is over. Our SAG actors will not be promoting the pilot on social media. It’s important that we support them in getting a fair deal, even if we seem an insignificant cohort in this giant battle.
Only SAG-AFTRA signatory productions are affected by this strike, but please consider what things you can do to stand in solidarity with the strike, even as an indie production. Anything helps.
